‘Tupe and Outsourcing’. A Day In The Life Employment Workshop.

TIME:
08:00 am - 10:00 am
LOCATION:
Jacksons Law Firm, 17 Falcon Court, Preston Farm Industrial Estate, Stockton on Tees, TS18 3TU

The Employment Team at Jacksons Law Firm are hosting a series of FREE monthly interactive workshops aimed at empowering HR managers, and those with people management responsibilities, to navigate key issues and scenarios that arise within the employment life cycle.

The fifth of our monthly, ‘A Day in the Life’ Employment Law workshops will focus on ‘TUPE and Outsourcing’. This workshop will see our fictional company, Preston Produce Limited, decide to outsource some of its activities to a contractor and follow the steps it needs to take to ensure that the service provision change complies with the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE).

During the workshop we will summarise the key legal issues and work through real-life examples based on our Employment Team’s experience.

This workshop will be suitable if you are a HR manager, have responsibilities for dealing with these issues in the workplace or simply want to know more about the seemingly complex concept of TUPE and how it applies to outsourcings, other changes in service provision, business transfers and share and asset purchases.

The feedback from our previous four workshops has been really positive with the detailed case studies proving particularly popular – please follow the link below for examples. Full feedback and model answers will be provided following each workshop.

Please follow the link below to view questions and model answers from our July workshop on Equality at Work.
