The Private Client team deal with a variety of agricultural matters for our farming clients. We deal with lifetime succession planning in conjunction with our specialist corporate and agricultural teams. We advise on the preparation of Wills to deal with the succession of the farming business on death by consideration of both specific gifts and the use of trusts. We consider in depth all of our clients individual circumstances and are able to advise fully on the options available to them and draft bespoke documents to meet their needs.
We offer the preparation of Commercial LPAs for those who operate as sole traders, in partnership and limited companies to ensure continuity of the business in the event of future lack of capacity.
We also have wide experience in dealing with agricultural estates; we can guide our clients through the sale or transfer of the farm as part of the overall administration process along with consideration of all inheritance tax reliefs that may be available
Please see our Agriculture Team Sheet 2020 for more details of the services we offer.
