Michael Graduated in Law from Northumbria University in 2012 before starting his training contract at Jacksons in 2013. Before qualifying as a solicitor in 2015, he gained legal experience in a number of commercial departments and therefore understands the demands placed on commercial entities, and the need to offer appropriate advice in line with client requirements.
Michael is a solicitor within the Commercial Litigation Department and is able to deal with contentious construction disputes on behalf of small/medium sized construction firms. In particular, Michael has assisted a number of clients through the court process and adjudication in relation to non-payment of invoices/payment applications, professional negligence, disputes relating to defects and retention recovery.
Michael also assists individuals who have carried out or instructed construction contractors in relation to residential improvements.
Outside of work Michael enjoys playing football, golf and squash.
