Emily graduated from Northumbria University in 2012 after completing the Law LLB Exempting Degree, and qualified as a solicitor in 2016.
Working previously in a Seaham law firm’s personal injury department, Emily moved to the Probate, Wills and Trusts department at a firm in Sunderland, and has worked in the area ever since, joining Jacksons’ Private Client team in September 2023.
Emily is an accredited member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers (formerly Solicitors for the Elderly), a national association of independent lawyers who specialise in legal services for older and vulnerable people.
Outside of work Emily describes herself as a ‘bit of a foodie’ and enjoys nothing more than a good meal or fine dining experience. She is also a gym-goer and keen baker, whenever time allows. This is less than she previously enjoyed due to her twin toddlers, who are making her baking apron redundant for the time being!
