Charlie joined Jacksons in March 2024 as a Paralegal and starts his Solicitor training contract with the firm in July 2024. He completed his solicitor legal practice course at Northumbria University having previously studied History as an undergraduate at the University of Warwick, before deciding to pursue a career in law. He returned to the North East to undertake his GDL at Northumbria University.
Following completion of his GDL Charlie gained litigation experience at another firm before completing his LPC. He has previously worked for the Citizens Advice Bureau North Yorkshire providing advice to clients facing fuel poverty and challenging energy providers with reference to their code of practice.
Outside of work, Charlie enjoys road cycling, running and swimming, as well as kitesurfing at Redcar whenever there is enough wind!
