Pre-nuptial Agreements

Pre-nuptial agreements are becoming more popular and the courts do take these into account providing that the parties have agreed to it and have not be subject to any pressure.

We like to believe that these agreements are just protective planning in the event that a relationship does breakdown and it will prevent as much expense and conflict if the same arises. If by the time the relationship does breakdown the circumstances have changed, then the Court still has the power to make orders dealing with those additional circumstances.

If you would like to discuss a pre-nuptial agreement please do not hesitate to contact us.
