JLF Tees Tech Talk. A series of free workshops aimed at start-ups in the technology sector.
The workshops will run over 3 months and will take place on the following dates:-
Workshop 1. Thursday 9th May – ‘The Idea’
Focusing on the initial idea for the business and the steps needed to make it a success including business structure, IP and professional advice from third parties. Expert View from Dominic Lusardi, Managing Director, Animmersion.
Workshop 3. Thursday 13th June – People
Putting in place the right contracts, policies and procedures for your business. The importance of defining confidential information and legitimate business interests. And restrictive covenants, garden leave and breaches of confidentiality. Expert view from Mark Easby, Managing Director, Better.
Workshop 5. Thursday 11th July – Health & Safety
Covering health and safety responsibilities when starting a business and taking occupation of commercial premises. Advice on what businesses must have to comply with safety legislation as well as pointers on how to keep compliance simple and streamlined.
Workshop 6. Thursday 25th July – Debt Recovery
8:30 – Registration, networking and breakfast.

10:00 – Q&A
10:15- 10:45 – Further networking and finish
All workshops can be booked via Eventbrite. Please search ‘JLF Tees Tech Talk’. You are welcome to attend as many workshops as you require but please book for each event separately.
Breakfast will be provided so please let us know of any special dietary requirements when booking. There is plenty of free car parking at the venue.
