We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in three categories in this year’s prestigious Northern Law Awards.
The Northern Law Awards, owned and produced by Echo Events & Association Management, celebrate the great wealth of legal talent and success within the region and is the law event for all those practising and working in the legal industry in the North of England.
The categories the firm has been shortlisted in are:
- Law Firm of the Year (+6 Partners)
- Team of the Year – Litigation and Dispute Resolution
- Law Practice Management Award
As finalists, we have been invited to the next stage, which is to attend a judging event at St James’ Park on May 22nd.
Speaking of the awards, Managing Partner, Tony Wentworth, said: “We are very pleased to have been shortlisted in this year’s awards.
“The shortlistings are testament to all the hard work and dedication of all our team members and we thank them for all their efforts.”
Partner and Head of Operations, Amie Callan, who has been shortlisted in the Law Practice Management award said: “I am humbled to have been included in the shortlisting for this prestigious award. It was totally unexpected to have been nominated, and I am very proud to have been put forward by my colleagues.”
Toby Joel, Partner and Head of Litigation Team said: “Our team is thrilled to have been shortlisted. We have won some milestone cases on behalf of clients in the last year, and it is very satisfying to know that those successes have been recognised by our shortlisting in this category.”
Erica Turner, who was instrumental putting together the nominations for both Law Firm of the Year and Practice Management awards said: “We are really looking forward to the next stage of the awards, which is to meet a panel of judges later this month.
“It will give us the chance to discuss in more detail just how much we have achieved over the last 12 months and to highlight further our achievements and ambitions as a firm.”
The awards process culminates with an award ceremony at St James’ Park, Newcastle, on 27th June where winners of each category will be announced. The evening and will give attendees the opportunity to celebrate alongside their peers to champion the many talented individuals and teams working in the legal industry.
