This will be my last blog for Jacksons as managing partner but hopefully not the last one I write for the firm. At the end of this month my term as managing partner comes to an end and I will become a consultant to the firm. It is a strange moment in time.
It can be easy to overlook putting in place written contracts for your staff when you are busy or if you are only engaging workers on a casual or seasonal basis.
Will the covid-19 vaccine become mandatory for care workers?
As the media reports that the government is considering allowing holiday makers to travel to “amber” listed countries this summer if they have had two vaccinations against COVID-19 without having to self isolate for 10 days upon return
Much has been written over the last week or so about the DEFRA consultation concerning the proposed lump sum exit scheme.
The consultation is actually in two parts: firstly, looking at the lump sum exit scheme and, secondly, at the proposal for delinked payments.
Business Administration Apprentice
I started my career at Jacksons in 2018 as an apprentice working towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. I was based on reception and I still remember the excitement of landing a job in a Law Firm.
