Jacksons healthcare department comprises a team of experts who can provide a full spectrum of legal advice to GP’s dentists developers, funders and primary care trusts.
Our range of expertise covers anything from lease negotiations, new site development and assembly, pension and fund investments, environmental law and litigation. Key areas on which we can help include partnership negotiations and employment issues, development of new schemes lease negotiations with public and private sector landlords or tenants and planning including feasibility, applications, appeals and planning agreements.
In terms of employment advice, we have for many years acted for acute hospital, mental health and ambulance trusts on the full range of employment law matters. This has included employment tribunal representation on almost all types of claim including unfair dismissal, discrimination, wages, breach of contract etc but more specifically in the healthcare sector mass litigation on equal pay claims and pension rights for part time employees. We have also advised on the impact of Agenda for Change within the NHS. In addition, we also offer an ongoing ad hoc telephone advice and support on a range of issues, including ill health absence, poor performance and disciplinary processes. We advise on wider strategic issues including large scale reorganisation and redundancies.
